The Caledonian League The objects of the Caledonian League are to to promote fellowship amongst and between the senior members of the constituent clubs and to encourage friendly competition in matches between clubs in an annual golfing league. Players eligible to play in league matches shall be members of the constituent clubs who are over fifty years old and hold a national handicap. All matches are played between teams of twelve competing of six 4-ball better ball games. So, if you are over 50 and want to play, just put your name on the sign-up sheets displayed on the Club notice-board.

DOLLAR ~ CALEDONIAN LEAGUE DIV 1 CHAMPIONS 2016* It was down to the wire in Division 1 for Dollar in their final match of 2016 facing a difficult away match against Craigiehill to decide the issue. However, the Dollar team pulled out all the stops and against the odds brought home the goods with a sound 5½ to a 0½ victory and with it the Div 1 Caledonian League Championship 2016. Congratulations are in order to all the players who took part in the league matches this year. *Note: To decide the League Champions for 2016 there is a play-off between the four Divisonal winners. In the semi-finals the Dollar team play Canmore and the Kinross team Forfar.

24th May 2016 - Dollar vs Craigie Hill Pictured, team captains Kenny MacKinnon (Craigie Hill) and Jerry Cant (Dollar) with other members of their team players on the first tee, ready for action and feeling confident. It was a handsome win for the home team but Kenny promised a tougher match in the return at Craigie Hill on 6th September.
